Write Letters
It is vital that members of the community stay in touch with their local and national politicians on issues to do with life – be it abortion, euthanasia, or embryonic stem-cell research – letters do make a difference.

HLPS also encourages members to write to the Editor of their local newspaper.
Fundraising
HLPS depends on donations to spread its message in the community. The society runs monthly cakestalls in Moonah, South Hobart and North Hobart. HLPS also run an annual button-selling day across Tasmania. If you would like to bake cakes, help sell cakes or buttons, please phone the society for more details on (03) 6224 2632.
